The Element of water. Iceland.

Iceland in May.

On the verge of day and night. There are such touching moments when it pinches your eyes for no reason, you want to laugh and cry at the same time. Sunset between the tongues of the huge Icelandic glacier Vatnajökull was just one of them. In May, the white nights already reigned, but it still became dark for a couple of hours.

Just as thrilling for me was a sunrise two years ago while hiking from Mont Blanc to the Matterhorn, known as the Haute Route. Then there was, perhaps, one of the most gentle dawns with a beautiful view of the Moiry glacier.
